And another purpose of doing this is backing up data. Every day, you view a great number if page on the Internet, your hard drive is easy to get attacked by virus and malware. It is necessary to clone the data on your dynamic volume for backing up in case of data loss.

Next, we will demonstrate to you how to copy dynamic volume to an HDD/SSD?

How to copy/clone dynamic volume to a basic disk?

Actually, as some advanced functions are not available for dynamic volumes such as expanding Striped Volume, Mirrored Volume and RAID-5 Volume in the Disk Management, you could implement these functions indirectly.

But you can first convert the dynamic volume to a basic disk, and clone it to another disk. To complete these, you will need a reliable disk manager named AOMEI partition Assistant Server. With this utility, you can easily change a dynamic disk to basic without data loss, and clone it to another basic disk.
