Common problems when using dynamic disk
Problem1: "I have a
Windows 2003 Server with dynamic disk, C partition is also on dynamic disk and it’s
running out of space. Is there any way or software to resize partition on dynamic disks?
Any help will be great."
Problem2: "I have here a Windows 2003 Server running. This Server has two HDDS
(RAID 1) as dynamic disks. The "great" admin set the size of C only to 10 gigs (D
has over 100 gigs). After install some important stuff on C I have now only 400 MB
free space. How I can resize the C drive? Is it any possibility to extend a dynamic
disk?"
Way to resize dynamic system partition
In the past, to resize dynamic disk, you have to convert dynamic disk to basic disk
first. It is risky and time-consuming. Nowadays, AOMEI Partition Assistant Server, equipped with Dynamic Disk Manager wizard, allowing you to
resize/move, shrink and extend system dynamic volume, etc directly and safely.
What's more, it is not only compatible with Windows Server 2000, 2003, 2008, 2011,
2012, but also Windows 7/8/Vista/XP.
