Way 3. Copy the SAM File

The error code 0xc0000001, as described above, can be caused by corrupted SAM files. To resolve this issue, just copy the SAM file from the repair folder.

Step 1. Turn on your PC from USB and follow the same steps of the first method, click “Repair your computer” and follow the wizard to continue.

Step 2. Choose Troubleshoot > Advanced options> Command Prompt.

Step 4. If asked whether you want to overwrite the original file, please type “Y” to confirm.

Way 4. Rebuild BCD via CMD or professional partition tool

Step 1. Boot the computer from an installation media and follow the same step of the Way 3 and open CMD.

Step 2. In this way, you need to type the commands and press “Enter” after each:

• Bootrec /fixmbr
• Bootrec /fixboot
• Bootrec /rebuildbcd
• exit
