How do I test my hard drive speed?

" I recently bought a 500gb WD Blue HDD at a garage sale. I have no idea if it works or not, but it appears to be in good condition on the outside. With my PC I just bought, I realized it has the exact same HDD in it. How do I test my hard drive speed? What is the best way to test this hard drive? "

Why need to perform disk speed test on Windows?

The PC hard drive is the most important storage device on the computer. When the hard drive is not in good condition, it will directly affect the operating efficiency of the computer.

When we get a new hard drive or feel that the PC is slowing down, making free hard drive benchmark test is quite necessary. Because only by testing the condition of the hard disk, can further measures be taken to repair the hard disk, and ensure its secure use.

If you do not check the hard disk health and read/write speed in time, it will lead to low computer efficiency, even blue screens and computer freezes. To use your computer normally for a longer time, please pay attention to the test of your PC hard drive.
