After choosing the Method 2 - Convert any dynamic volume to basic partition, click the "Next". In the next window, choose the dynamic volume you want to copy (e.g. E: Striped), and then click the "Next" button to continue.

In this step, we can choose one of the unallocated space. However, when we operate it, perhaps we will find that the size of the unallocated space is smaller than the dynamic volume you want to copy. As a result, the process will slow down because the way of cloning dynamic volume is not sector by sector any more, but file to file. In such case, we'd better extend the capacity of the unallocated space or choose a larger unallocated space. Then, click "Next".
