Not enough space on C drive

Solution 1. Deleted hibernate file

Windows reserves about half of the RAM space for the hibernation file. If the computer RAM is 8GB, the hibernation file is about 4GB in size. The steps of delete hibernate file is:

1. Go to start menu, type “cmd” and right click it to run as administrator.

2. Type “powercfg.exe-h off” and press “Enter”.

Then, you will see a few more gigabytes of free space on system drive.

Solution 2. Clean disk

You can also free up space of C drive by empty it.

1. Click “Start”, type “disk” in the search box and select “Disk Cleanup”.

2. In the “Disk Cleanup”, select the drive you want to clean up. Here is C drive. Click “OK”.

4. Finally, choose to delete files you do not need.

Solution 3. Uninstall some programs

Windows has many built-in programs (especially in Windows 10), and you may never use some of them. So, you can uninstall the programs that you do not actually need. And you can also uninstall the programs that won’t be needed in the future to free up space.

1. Click the start button.

2. Then, click “Control Panel” > “Programs” > “Programs and Features”.

Then, you can right click on the program you want to uninstall and select Uninstall.

Solution 4. Move programs from C to another drive
